Ten-year fixed lease signed with major international corporation for 17,000 sq.m property as part of ORA program in 17th arrondissement of Paris
Neuilly-sur-Seine, December 7, 2017 – KAUFMAN & BROAD has signed a 10-year fixed lease-before-completion agreement with a renowned multinational corporation for 17,000 sq.m of offices and services as part of the ORA program located in Paris in the new eco-district of Porte Pouchet (17th arrondissement).
ORA is being developed by Kaufman & Broad and has been bought by OMEGA 16 in a club deal involving the two investors Amundi Immobilier and MACIFIMO. It will offer 26,000 sq.m of ideally located office space at the heart of the triangle linking up the Central Business District, La Défense and Plaine Saint-Denis, and be close to public transport services.
ORA’s contemporary architecture has been designed by François Leclercq and will perform remarkably well in terms of energy consumption, sound insulation, air quality and organization of working space.
The building is to be delivered in the summer of 2018 and aspires to obtain the following labels and certifications: HQE Passeport “Excellent” (high environmental performance), BREEAM “Very Good”, Well “Core and Shell Compliance”, Effinergie+ (energy efficiency), Bâtiment Biosourcé (bio-sourced building) and LEED “Gold”.
ORA will be able to host up to 2,200 employees in premium conditions as the concept of well-being in the workplace has been incorporated into its design thanks to flexible and elegant spaces, floors letting in an abundance of natural light and premium services catering to the comfort and well-being of its users; these include a restaurant, business center, concierge service, dedicated spaces providing access to private terraces and a 500 sq.m bicycle garage with its own showers and changing facilities.
The tenant will set up its head office there with a staff of more than 700 people working in its sales department, technical services and support functions. It plans to move into the building in October 2018.
